Picaflora exists for one reason: to put the best flowers in the world into the hands of the people who love them the most — florists.

The name is the hummingbird — picaflor — one of nature’s most sacred emissaries. In nearly every tradition that has ever honoured them, they carry joy, presence, and the reminder to be exactly where you are meant to be. They are the only creature that can fly in every direction — and they go precisely where they are called.

That is our purpose. We move through the market with that same intention, returning only with what is genuinely worth your attention — so that when it lands in your hands, you already know it belongs there.

From close to home. Some of the best flowers travel the shortest distance. We work with specialty local growers for product at the absolute peak of its season — cut days, not weeks, before it reaches you.

From Europe. The Dutch auctions and the European growing regions are the backbone of the trade for good reason — range, reliability, and varieties refined over generations. We buy there constantly, with an eye for grade and stem quality rather than just price.

From Japan. Japanese specialty growers produce flowers that simply don't come from anywhere else — in form, in color, in sheer precision. We bring in a carefully chosen selection for the designers who are looking for something their usual suppliers cannot source.

Other regions. From South America to New Zealand we are always hunting for the rarest and more unique product to offer. Flower hunting is our specialty.

Across all three regions — and many more — the standard never wavers. Everything handled cold, moved with intention, delivered with care.
